42 Washington and 13 Edison 8th graders just returned from an unforgettable 5-day East Coast adventure, exploring D.C. landmarks, laying a wreath at Arlington, riding roller coasters in Maryland, dancing on a Hudson River cruise, and soaking up the NYC energy.
This is just one of the many incredible summer trips our scholars are experiencing this summer!

We are truly thankful for our partnership with the Quad City Botanical Center! Over the past few weeks, their Plant Discovery Bus has been visiting our schools, giving our scholars a hands-on learning experience about plant parts, different types of soil, and the steps involved in planting.
Our scholars had an amazing time exploring, learning, and even planting their plants to take home!

Congratulations to Rock Island Center for Math and Science for winning the ST Math Challenge against East Moline’s Ridgewood Elementary School!
Throughout this quarter-long competition, scholars worked together as a class and individually to solve as many puzzles as possible.

In case you missed last night's IAR March Madness Tournament action:
🏀 We honored our 4A Regional Champion Rocky Boys Basketball Team!
🏀 We saw a sweet surprise for Washington Junior High School- RIMSD 's Coach Burrage from his 8th Grade boys basketball team after their UNDEFEATED season!
The championship matchup is now set! The Rolling Stones and the Washington Warriors on April 3.
