School might be out for the summer but some junior high school students are choosing to spend part of their break in the classroom!
Washington Junior High is offering a two-week camp for Edison and Washington students at no cost to them!
It’s the first year the school has offered the camp and in its first year 39 students registered to attend.
The purpose of the camp is to provide science enrichment. The students get to done hands-on science experiments.
While the students will be learning a lot about science the camp also teaches them literacy and team building skills.
The last day of camp is June 14.
