Washington Junior High teachers and staff pulled out all the stops for students at a school wide assembly on Tuesday, March 27. The purpose: to get students in a positive mindset for PARCC testing.

 

The State of Illinois PARCC test begins at Washington JHS next week and a teachers/staff lip sync assembly was the key to get students pumped up for PARCC. The stage line up did not disappoint. MC Hammer, Shaggy, Drake, Miley Cyrus and Sonny and Cher made appearances. A student favorite - KISS - took the stage and wrapped up the afternoon. 

 

"Washington Junior High teachers and staff are here to support our students," said Principal Kristin Allen. "We know students know the material and we want students to put in their best effort for PARCC testing. Get plenty of rest, have a good breakfast and show up on test day with a positive attitude."
